About me
Katie Boyes is a contemplative activist and spoken word artist based in Leeds. She loves Jesus and is hungry to see his Kingdom come. For the past seven years, this has looked like pastoring a church in a homeless shelter for those struggling with addiction, mental health, homelessness and childhood trauma. However, more recently, it has also looked like getting into “good trouble” by engaging in prophetic acts of peaceful protest on behalf of the poor and planet. Whether in a jail cell or soup kitchen, she longs to discover just how good the gospel really is to a hurting, groaning world.
